Doctor Biography's

Masayuki “Maz” Kazahaya, MD, FACS
Dr. Kazahaya graduated from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine. He is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he obtained his Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Bioengineering. He completed his Internship at TAH-LVHC (now Lehigh Valley Health Network) and his Ophthalmology Residency at Hahnemann University. He received additional training as a Fellow in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the University of Virginia. Dr. Kazahaya is Board Certified in Ophthalmology since 1996. Dr. Kazahaya is Chief of the Division of Ophthalmology at Lehigh Valley Health Network.

David A DeRose, MD
Dr. DeRose received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Rochester. He obtained his Medical Degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine. His Internship was conducted at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and his Ophthalmology Residency at Hahnemann University. Dr. DeRose completed a Research and Anterior Segment Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. DeRose is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Drexel University School of Medicine and is Board Certified in Ophthalmology since 1998. Dr. DeRose joined Lehigh Eye Specialists after serving patients in Northeast Pennsylvania for over a decade.
